Track Chains
Track chain
Track chains (crawler chains ) not only totally enclose the track system itself but also enlarge the ground surface area on which the vehicle rests, a feature greatly improving both weight distribution and traction.
Spare parts are required for track chains when the original parts are worn out. BERCO has supplied top technological solutions to companies seeking spare parts for their chain driven vehicles for years.

Chain track system
Chain track system
Chain track systems are required for track driven construction machines. They comprise six parts: (1) metal crawler chain, if necesssary with rubber studs, (2) drive wheel for transmission of the torque to the chain, (3) opposite guide wheel, (4) wheels or rollers, (5) support rollers to support the reverse movement of the chain and (6) chassis.
BERCO has been supplying spare parts for chain undercarriages for years.

Bulldozer
Bulldozer
An earth mover - also known as push loader or leveller - is a construction machine that moves, transports, builds up or compacts earth. Such machines are chain driven and normally equipped with a levelling blade. They are also equipped with diverse additional devices such as scarifiers, cable winches, ploughs and laser controls for automatic levelling.
Spare parts are regularly required for track design bulldozers in continuous operation. Crawler chains, shoes, drive sprockets or rollers should only be purchased from reputable, quality suppliers such as BERCO in order to guarantee long service life.

Pavers
Pavers
Pavers are construction machines used in road building. They tarmac or concrete roads over a width of 0.6 to 16 m, and are also capable of spreading ballast.
The advantage associated with a paver is that it performs multiple operations for which otherwise separate machines would normally be necessary for each individual operation. The material, such as bitumen, concrete or ballast, is evenly spread by screw conveyors over the ground subsequent to being directly offloaded from the truck into a container and fed onwards by means of chain conveyors.
Pavers require high-tech track systems, undercarriages, track system components and spare parts. BERCO, the world leaders in such products, have been reliable partners to the manufacturers and operators of construction machines for decades.

Dozer
Dozer
The dozer is a construction machine of special design featuring a chain track system. It is equipped at the front with a shovel capable of loosening hard ground. Five further components serve to make up the complete unit: chain track, engine, lift frame, rear scarifier and driver's cab.
Although very similar to a bulldozer, the dozer displays several unique features: the engine is located at the rear, thus providing a counterweight to the load in the shovel. The driver's cab is in the middle to give a better view.
The track components are subject to heavy wear and tear. This adds up to spare parts - the leading technological products from BERCO - being required on a regular basis.

Excavators
Excavators are special construction machines used to dig out and refill earth excavations. One differentiates, depending on the type, between discontinuous excavators for loading, transporting and offloading (shovel, flat excavator, suction dredger) and excavators for continuous operation (bucket wheel excavator, chain-and-bucket excavator).
Excavators travel either on wheels (mobile excavators with 4-wheel drive) or on chain tracks. Walking draglines walk by means of an arm and a pair of wheels. Mini excavators weigh from 1 t to 6 t. The biggest excavators are used in open cast mining. The chain-and-bucket excavator in Garzweiler, weighing approximately 13.000 t and measuring almost 100 m in height, is currently the world's largest of its kind.
The quality of the tracks, chains, idlers wheels, drive sprockets and track shoes on crawler type excavators is of eminent importance in avoiding high follow-on costs. In other words, spare parts should also always be of the highest quality (e.g. BERCO).

Construction Machines
Construction Machines
Machines used to transport or modify building materials or auxiliary building materials are termed construction machines. They are either stationary, mobile or semi-mobile and equipped with combustion or electric motors.
Construction machines are not only employed in the construction industry but, for example, also in the agricultural sector, on rubbish tips, landfill sites or coal mining. They are divided into various categories: earth moving machines (stationary excavators, mobile excavators, flat excavators), drilling and slotted wall machines, transport equipment, lifting gear, pile driving and pulling appliances, road construction machines, compactors, tunnel construction machines, compressors and cleaning equipment. Machines and equipment for transportation and processing of concrete and mortar as well as for sewer and pipeline construction are also included.
Since they are normally subject to heavy-duty operation regular servicing is a must. High quality spare parts, from BERCO are of major importance in extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.
