True to company philosophy, quality management at BERCO seeks to meet the highest demands.
The experience gained over many years as the world’s leaders in the
field of track systems and undercarriages for chain driven earth moving
machines was underlined by the experts from the TUV Rheinland Cert
GmbH at the end of 2010. BERCO meet all the requirements set forth in
the QM Norm DIN ISO 9001:2008 and were awarded the coveted certificate,
valid till the end of 2013.
The certificate covers the manufacture and distribution of components,
accessories and spare parts for chain driven vehicles and earth moving
machines as well as all work involved in the design, assembly and
servicing of such products.
The EN ISO 9000 ff. quality management norm outlines criteria which a
company must fulfil in order to reach professional standards in
implementing quality management. Independent certification bodies, such
as the TUV, examine compliance in the course of comprehensive
certification procedures. While the EN ISO9000 norm defines the terms
and principles of quality management systems, the EN ISO 9001 norm sets
out the demands made on a QM system, which ensure that, at a minimum,
customer satisfaction is achieved and the rules and regulations of the
authorities are complied with. The eight principles of a QM system are:
customer orientation, management responsibility, inclusion of persons
participating, process oriented approach, system oriented approach,
consistent improvement, decision making approach and supplier relations
promoting mutual benefits.
