BERCO track shoes are through-hardened and stress-free annealed to provide excellent resistance to wear. Maximum toughness coupled with high flectional and breaking strength which guarantee long service life.

Special applications

  • Forged track shoes: products featuring special properties are required for use under arduous conditions, such as in mining. BERCO has developed a range of specially forged track shoes to meet heavy duty user needs. A fully automatic forging line, including a 16.000 t press and downstream machining and heat treatment, serves to generate a product displaying first-class mechanical properties and excellent wear and breaking strength features.  Track shoes are produced for bulldozers with a chain pitch of up to 317.5 mm as well as for large excavators with pitches up to 350 mm.

  • Rubber or polyurethane coated track shoes: BERCO supplies numerous rubber coated track shoes supplemented by clamp-on steel shoes with a vulcanised polyurethane or rubber lining. Such items are typically used on pavers and asphalt millers.
  • Cast steel track shoes: BERCO supply a wide range of high resistance cast steel shoes for special applications, for instance self-cleaning shoes (with dirt holes) for use on swampy or marshy ground and flat shoes for hard, level ground.
